Interestingly the sun is shining on a Bank Holiday weekend

What will you pick warm seat in garden?

Seaside splash?

Family and friends BBQ?

Or

Go find a nice place to pick blackberries or PYO farm of anything?

The satisfaction of fresh food and outside in the country .

I did the latter got my free hedgerow fruit and made jam. Double satisfied next day to make scones as Bank Holiday treat!

Afternoon skit,

I've been gathering blueberries from my rather laden bush and have to date picked over 5lbs and there are many more to come. It's not easy as my back and knees complain loudly, but I love it. Hopefully I'm going to pick some blackberries this weekend in the fields around me, and also the field mushrooms should start appearing any time now..... I couldn't agree more with you about the satisfaction of gathering in the lovely countryside, I'm blessed to live in a particularly beautiful valley and am grateful every day for being here 😊😊

I wish we had your sunshine as here in east Devon it's looking rather ominously like rain for this afternoon. 😕

Your going to be very busy indeed Foggy with all the jam and pie making.

The thought of home made pies and jam has painted a beautiful picture in my head. { I can smell them now} Ahhhhhhhhhh. Happy cooking xxxx

We have been so lucky to day with nice weather. Managed to grab some blackberries from next doors overgrown garden and made Oh blackberry crumbled and I had some late Rhubarb so did myself a Rhubarb one. Hope everyone has a lovely time over the bank hols.x
