I hope everyone has had a pain free ( as much as can be) couple of days,
I used to look forward to a bank holiday because I'd get an extra day off or double pay,
Now? Oh well sort of days now, ๐๐
I'm going to say a little pray to one of Fibro warriors tonight,
Smilesalot needs an extra boost, I always give a little pray at night for all who suffer, Some of us just need a little more ๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค at times,
Take care all

I make greeting cards, Mini albums (a book type set up with extra pockets and fancy stuff, cross stitch, knitting, I have a sewing machine some where but have no particular knowledge More craft really on that lot, I used to enjoy drawing, cartoon people and animals but I have decided I love drawing nice large and beautiful houses (thank you zoopla) Hubby brought me a book of Scottish castles too, I dabbled with landscape,
My house is a bit upside down at the moment and mental health stupidly so What I can do sat up in bed I'll have a go,๐
I was told as a child I wouldn't go anywhere with anything,So I do little story type, My animals and Hubby are in there, I don't claim to be a Turner,Monet or Klimpt but I do enjoy the process the more I do I'm finding it easier, I just wish I'd carried it on when I was younger,I mostly work from using a view finder and photographs,๐ฐ
I do these for my own sanity and know when I've done a good job when Hubby makes a big fuss over them,๐๐
You do loads and you seem to really enjoy it ๐ you are really good at it all I bet.
I used to sketch portraits, then tried acrylic painting and a bit of pouring art...II'm not great at it all but it's good fun. I should do it more then I might become decent at it all...
Good morning Debsdelight72 I know what you mean about bank holidays, now it's just like any other day as I'm retired, the only thing is we never go out on a bank holiday as everywhere is so busy! However yesterday I managed to cut about half of my low lavender hedge, but boy do I know about it today - goodness knows when I'll be able to cut the other half! ๐ค
I don't pray but am sending lots of positive thoughts and hugs to Smilesalot and to all the Fibro warriors out there. ๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค
Hope your soak in the bath helped, no Epsom salts bath for me, only have a wetroom ๐ข. Still, a couple of Co-codamols after breakfast helped a bit, other than that a lazy day for me, trying to recover from yesterday! I love lavender too, and yes so do the many bees that visit every day, though not as many this year as in previous years, they were late coming too. Still some about the garden on my wild flower patch and a few on the lavender. x
Positive thoughts are also very well taken Thank you,
I planted a wisteria in my garden, This was the 3rd and final time I tried and was rewarded by large white and purple pink flowers (I think it must have been grafted or I am very lucky)
The flowers have long gone and now it's covered the fence and my neighbour says she's looking forward to having all the flowers on her side next year!! ๐,
Waiting for our chap to come back of his holiday then he can put an arch in and train it up over the back of the house, I don't want to replant it elsewhere as I risk a couple of years with no flowers, Not sure what else I can do?
Hello Welshcatlady Lesley, My back yard is just that concrete,
I have everything in pots an old bin (not a wheelie bin)with plenty of holes and rubble in the bottom,๐ชด๐ชด๐ชดThe Wisteria is in the biggest pot, a fern years back off a lady down the road,She was going to use it for a wildlife pond ๐
It sounds wonderful, we have only lived here for 3 years and since we moved in we have been expecting the council to do some work on the exterior walls, mainly adding insulation. It will be a big job because they will have to knock down a retaining wall in the back garden and move it further back. So still waiting for the work to be done, latest date we have been given is September, but we've had no confirmation yet. Anyway until the work is completed we are not going to do any more in the garden. As I said your back yard sounds lovely and not too much work.
