Went for ESA assessment. Wasn't interviewed !!! I was ambushed!!!. It was horrible, nasty, he wouldn't let me finish anything I was asked. Looked at me like I was a liar. Have been to c.a.b.and told them. They have kept a record. So am awaiting brown envelope with results.some of the questions were nothing to do with my medical state. Am so worried. He said some of my answers were different??? Yes because my condition is worse!!!.

What a bad experience you must have had. You come out wondering whether it is you or them going mad don;t you. I think they live on a parallel universe to us. Do hope that it all comes out well in the end. Let us know how you get on.x

Same happened to me if my name hadn't been on letter would have thought it was about someone else don't take it personally this is what they do don't forget you can have mandatory reconsideration and appeal I had to I went all the way and finally won try not to worry everything might be ok for you but if it isn't it's not the end good luck xx

Hello,

I had a very similar experience with my PIP medical assessment. I only say this to let you know that you can do something about it.

The first thing that I did was to make a few notes about what happened. One of the benefits of doing this was that it stopped my mind spinning around trying to remember everything.

The second thing was to ask the DWP for a copy of the report. You are entitled to do this and for me, it is a pretty good indicator as to what your award may be.

The last thing that I did was complained about the conduct of the person who conducted the assessment. It said on the report that the person concerned was a nurse, in my case. I therefore contacted the Nursing and Midwifery Council and made a complaint. They are currently assessing it before deciding the next steps.

It is totally up to you what you do next. I do not like it when people fail to do their job and are rude.

Best wishes.

Dave
