I am sorry I had to look that one up. As far as I am concerned I don't think that I have. I don't know about others but do check with your Gp about it!

Hey there... Actually, over here a lot of drs are connecting fibro and the problem w candida overgrowth.. It causes toxicity in bloodstream which causes fatigue, brain fog, pain.. So if I can lower some of that end maybe I can dial back the pain somewhat.. I wish!

I ve been on so many antibiotics, I figured I probably caused some imbalance in my body.

HI cctexan,

Fybro is a major lymphatic system issue..as many diseases are nowadays. and as consequence of lymph (waste) being stagnated in your body..candida will grow and all together with antibiotics (anti-bio (organism) ) the good bacteria will be overwhelmed by the bad one (candida).

How to fix? stop feeding candida and clean your lymphatic system.

All the best for you my friend.

Hello Healyourself,

Fibromyalgia is considered a CNS related disorder due to recent research. Most researchers concur that Fibro is a central processing disorder that has changes in the neuroendocrine/neurotransmitter systems

I have found research to which discusses Manual Lymphatic Drainage as a therapy which may be used to lessen symptoms but they do state more controlled studies need to be done. Therefore research continues into this........

Here are the studies ;

sciencedirect.com/science/a...

sciencedirect.com/science/a...

If you have any further studies please post them to support your claims as I would be interested to read them

Many Thanks

Hi Mdaisy,

Thank you for your kind response.

couldn't open first link. so talk about second one. :)

Of course they noticed some improvements on Manual Lymphatic Drainage, as when the toxins start moving and possibly being eliminated improvement is normal. But, in my opinion, this study would always have presented small results as it did..because if those people subjected to the study continued eating the same food they have always eating and no not receiving the ideal nutrition...no significant results can be achieved.

Lymphatic System is our sewage system if for example your sewage system is blocked at home..you would have a serious problem, right? It back up...The same with the body, if a person keeps having a poor diet and clogging up their sewage system..the body has to manifest..and it happens through all theses chronic diseases, happening around the world.

The thing is, all this happens over the years..as we grow..some people have health problems earlier..some have the later in life.. some babies already present theses issues as it is passed by their mom, as they share everything when growing inside the mom.

We need to look at the root of the problems..and work from there..not suppress the symptoms with chemicals.. as the body is not a fool..he will find another way of manifesting the problem...so people will start having several health issues..but the root is all the same.

There a millions and millions of videos on this on youtube:

I just chose this one for you..but there are so much information out there.

I speak by experience, I changed my life..and thats a truth nobody can take away from me...as its my journey.

all the best for you and everybody here.

Hello Healyourself,

Thank You for your reply

I understand the Lymphatic system being an ex Staff Nurse and also understand qualitative & quantitative research plus the need for collective studies before conclusions can be made.

I have no doubt it may have helped your particular situation and it may lessen others symptoms as per the research I have cited. However, just because it has worked for you doesn't mean it will work for others and until there is research to back up your claims then this is just an hypothesis (a supposition or proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation)

Therefore, any statements you are making are just your opinion and not based on any research. As I said if you can present the research to support your claims we can discuss this - You Tube videos of Dr's talking about the Lymphatic System & the promotion of his books I'm afraid do not support your initial claims.

This site is run by a charity called Fibromyalgia Action UK which have the Information Standard as do the NHS, this means we provide reputable information.

england.nhs.uk/tis/

That being so, we prefer to see evidence to support any claims of efficacy and until such times inform our members that research continues into this and there is preliminary evidence to suggest it may lessen symptoms.

Again Thank You for your reply

Best Wishes

Emma :)

Hi Mdaisy,

Thanks for the reply.

I understand that you have to follow the standards that you follow.

And I don't speak from an unexperient basis..as I said before I helped many people overcome several challenges..from children to elderly people.

I am passionate about this and my life mission is to help people change their lives..if they want to.

But any evidence that I present here will always be downgraded as it doesn't follow Standard of the NHS. I understand that.

I don't feel offended as I hope you don't either, I just want to help.

We follow different areas to tackling health issues. Different point of views.

But all is good.

Hope everyone gets better and live a healthy life in the future.

All the best.

That's why I'm loathe to post any links. I don't want to promise anything that could mislead my family here... Thanks mdaisy

I saw an article that said some root causes for fibro might be ( paraphrase d wrong I'm sure)

Adrenal stress possible

Candida overgrowth possibility

Hypothyroidism... Need to check thyroid at optimal levels

So I asked my primary to run my labs to help dial down what I can , since I cannot get pain medication in Texas without an act of congress

I once ,years ago, took Diflucan for 30 da ys straight. Yes it was a nightmare for my liver. I swear though I felt fine for at least 6 months. That doctor lost his license and went to prison for over writing pain med scripts and endangering patients. Since then no other doctors will do it again.

I had read a straight diet of lean meat and veg, slowly adding fruit back... Would help kill the yeast from all the processed foods, refined sugars, flours, yeast infections from antibiotics etc.

It said 3 to six months that way, or diflucan in a month... But I'm honestly sock of pills. I think pills are becoming toxiv now? I dunno. I'll let y'all know what I find out

My gut doesn't burn too bad right now cus I'm using gaviscom to coat it. Found out peptobismal is terrible if I have problems with asprins in stomach cus it has asprin deritive..

Night!

This was never mentioned during my examination and diagnosis. I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck.

Thanks Ken.. I was asking my Dr, I don't know if its good to be asking questions like this to discover? Or not. She got animated about testing for my thyroid and such. Like I was involved without fighting you know?

I get so scared of getting fired by a Dr now... It's hard to find a new one and start over.

Hi there I have had fm for about 16 years and have had candida really bad at times , change in diet help greatly but I also had two garlic and parsley tablets a day for a month and a good probiotic with my last bout being fermentation in my stomach, this cleared it up beautifully. Wishing you well.

Candida albicans is a commensal organism that is present in the majority of the population with little to no harm. That being said, there are serious infections that can be caused by C. albicans when patients have experienced prolonged hospitalization or are immunocompromised. Most diet changes advocating for "lowering your candida burden" are actually clever ways for people to correlate healthier eating patterns with a condition that you don't even know if you have. Please speak to your medical doctors before attributing your very serious (and hopefully improving) medical condition with this widely perpetuated and unsubstantiated 'disease' that is candida "overgrowth."
