Have had to admit defeat and go off sick from work as fatigue horrid and pain in sharp bursts all over body. Have had this cold a month and can't seem to clear it. Moved from chest to sinuses hopefully with some rest it will go.

I'm not too bad haribo, a bit down at the moment because the morphine patches that were really helping me I now find out I'm allergic to them in a big way, and they say there's nothing else to replace them with,... Yes echanacia is good in a big way, I also take Vit C and a black garlic tablet, garlic purifies the blood and acts as a antibiotic, I've used these for years especially the garlic and can't remember the last time I had a Really bad cold, how are you haribo, did you get your sofa sorted out, or put u up ....gentle hugs and a handful of sunshine coming your way....Dee. Xx
Iam so sorry to hear that dee,are there not any other patches for pain you could try?Despite not feeling well I've managed to start sorting out my room in preparation for making it into my sons bedroom.I sorted out stuff under my bed and my wardrobe with help from my carer.Iam going to think about the sofa and not rush into it.Gentle hugs to you too xxx
Good morning, yes I have difficulties shaking off colds with my fibro and they flare the fibro up.As gins and dee have said, lots of rest, regular meds, eat healthy and maybe a vitamin c supplement as well xxx
Hiya, I'd just like to add my twopennor'th to the hot drink. If you have it, add some grated root ginger to your toddy. The honey soothes your throat and has natural antibacterial and antiviral properties, the lemon is a welcome shot of vitamin c and the ginger has natural anti-inflammatory and immune system boosting properties. The steam from the hot water should also help clear your bunged sinuses. Of course, if your not on any contraindicated meds, you can always add a shot of whiskey and legitimately claim it's medicinal Hope you're soon feeling better x
