Metaphor:
If you've had Fibro for a year, you have fought with Mike the same round every day for 365. When you have done your second, it's the same round every day for the second year! And so on!

Good morning Mr Bee, I am sorry this is your experience of fibro. While it maybe the case for many other people too. Thankfully Its not the same experience for everyone who gets diagnosed with Fibro.
I'm a glass half full type of a girl. Well most of the time I'm no martyr lol 😂 But I do sometimes believe our minds can be more crippling than our bodies if that makes sense to anyone but me!!
I hope today will be a better one for you 🤗

This is the same response you give to all repeatedly. Which means you don't suffer the worst of it! Most men who have had this usually commit suicide as they can't live with it! At my best I'm still suffering physically to a certain degree. I've never felt better than 80% of a man! My worst was 15%. I'm about 50% at the moment and every slap down takes away 5%.
One thing I do know about these websites. Moderators are always tough on the ones who really speak their mind.
This likely to stop me from being any use to anyone on this site!
Hi there MRBee, sorry you find my replies mundane and not what you wish to hear. I can only speak from personal experience. No one minds anyone speaking their mind but been rude and presumptive is not exceptable in any place not only on a forum.
FYI I'm housebound, in a wheelchair, agoraphobic and crippled with OA as well as having fibro CFS for 35 years. But been offensive and rude never made me feel better.
You do sound very depressed and I'm sorry you feel so bad. Have you discussed your feelings of depression with your GP recently. If not maybe it would be an idea to let them know how low you are feeling.
sadly your replies need to be moderated because trying to say to people one shoe doesn't fit all when the shoe is clearly too big certyainly winds up those who have a small foot!
I'm not trying to upset you but yada yada yada, and I no longer find apologising a necessity for being someone who's in constant severe pain everyday and given just Co-Dydramol to keep it quiet. When that doesn't even scratch the surface. Sorry is for those who are sorry. Right now I ain't.
Discussed with Doctor? Mmm...
Doctors gave up on me in 2016 when they found they have no answers to any of my problems. I have more issues than I care to count as it takes a half an hour to write them down. This includes memory loss. Which people seem to joke about but is a serious issue for some. I don't even remeber whom I spoke to 20 miutes ago sometimes. Since 2016 it's been in one ear out the other with these so called Doctors. I have been reffered to Psychiatric department 3 times for low mood. An appointment was made to see a Psychologist. Which was cancelled without my knowledge. Some ******* in the Doctors surgery did that. I planely refuse any help from Doctors now as their all incompetent in our area of illness. To tell you why would take a life story.
Fact is Doctors are overpaid, and know only 2% of human condition. Yet most humans tend to "TRUST" them... Who's the fool?
I think Doctors have had enough of this CFS issue and tend to think it's time to let CFS sufferers rot!
I'm in the situation I can't take drugs for depression so I have to suffer the normal way like others.. Suffer in silence until the pressure gives. Well it's giving...
Hidden you are asking to be heard but you are shouting down other peoples opinions and experiences. Replies may not be what you want to hear but please do watch your tone.
It is clear that you are in a bad place and are suffering and I am sorry for that. I also think that your prism that you are viewing things through is shaping your comments and perhaps blinding you to others experiences be it sugar or exercise.
You are also stating facts without evidence and that are incorrect. Most men with fibro have not attempted suicide. There is a higher incidence generally with people in fibro but not broken down by gender. Also in my years involved with the charity your statement is not my experience personally of the males including myself that deal with fibro or generally.
Lashing out at the moderation is not helpful and they are reacting to your comments. Quite simply if this forum is one that you do not feel is appropriate for you then that is your choice. It is not for everyone but it is definitely not a place to throw about inaccurate facts or rail against people trying to provide support.
Also this is a forum for fibromyalgia and not CFS as they are not the same.
