Hi there not really sure what it could be but I do know the complicated thing with fibro is that it magnifies pain , light , smells, and even sound these can be symptoms too and of course if the light is a bit bright then this could contribute. I don't know how many meds your taking but lots of water in this weather is needed to cope with just normal dehydration but with meds do that too. I really hope this is of some help as it sure don't help fibro is complicated enough and causes so much suffering hope your better soon. xx
Hi
just a few ideas.
I have found washing my hair in the shower does a lot to relieve the pain, just standing under the warm water on the back of my neck helps to soothe the tension.
It may seem obvious but wearing a hat and sunglasses whilst outside, even to go out to the washing line can help by reducing the need to squint.
One thing you may not be aware of is that treating a headache that has lasted several days with painkillers can in itself cause headaches. If you find you are increasing the dose or shortening the times in between then you may be aggravating the situation.
Obviously if the pain worsens for no reason you can think of then you need to see your GP.
Hope this helps and you feel better soon.
I sometimes suffer with terrible tension headaches which generally don't respond to pain meds; it is often a relief when they trigger a migraine as I have meds to treat that which work. I have found that taking the painkillers and doing some relaxation exercises ( a guided relaxation on cd or on the web) can help to ease it or just having a nap sometimes is enough to release some of the tension in my shoulders. Do you find your shoulders are raised and tense because this is generally what causes my tension headaches; that and pain in my neck.
I hope you get some respite soon and find something that will help.
Gentle hugs, Steph
I am so genuinely sorry to read that, and I sincerely hope that you can find the answers that you so desperately desire and deserve. I have very bad migraines and daily headaches, and my Neurologist prescribed Pregabalin and Sumatriptan for them.
I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck, and it is wonderful to hear from you again.
Al my hopes and dreams for you

If it won't go, you need to see your gp. High blood pressure can cause an unrelenting headache, and a tweak in meds might be in order.
hi bwait. I recently learned a bit about "barometric migraines." you might want to search for info on that. best of luck!
Thank you I will! X
