Yes! My new plan: Keys go immediately into zipper pocket in purse once inside my car or house/destination. This will help tremendously because I use my keys to lock up my house, then walk to my car (door unlocks when I get close w/o using my keys), and usually just lay them somewhere...which just means I have to spend energy searching for them in the car or in my every cavernous purse. Even though the simplest things can escape me (especially ironic because I have a certain place/zipper pocket for my phone & blue tooth which has helped me NOT lose them), I am glad when the simple becomes clear, which it did thanks to your last statement: "Now you'll have a special place for everything, so that everything can go back in it's place!" Thank you!!
I'm sorry I missed your original post due to being rather poorly.
Please may I make a suggestion? Due to constantly losing my keys, I now have a hook by my front door.
As soon as I come in my first priority is to hang my keys straight onto the hook. It took a week or so to train myself, but it's now become a natural habit.
Yikes. I meant to respond to the other post but forgot. I'm not joking
I lost my wallet with holiday cash. I drove around the countryside to where I'd been and looked in numerous car parks, stores etc. It turned up 6 months later in a box on top of a cupboard. WHO put it there, how and why?????? (I live alone - scary)
Thank goodness you found them. I was in a huge panic yesterday as I thought I'd lost my prescription Sun glasses. I'm allergic to the sun and I must wear them. They cost about Β£400 and I'm lost without them. I wouldn't be able to go out.
We searched everywhere. I spent a good 30minutes checking the car, we went through all my bags, coats, the bins and then my husband checked the car again and they were caught right between the car seat fittings right in the corner.
Oh I bet you are so relieved. It always throws me if accidentally I don;t put my keys in a certain drawer when I get in, perhaps I go out to the car to put something back in the boot and then I have that awful feeling of panic come over me.xxx
