Pain in legs
Hi
get terrible achy heavy pains in my butt cheeks and thighs, sometimes feet. Butt pain is the worst when trying to rest as can't get comfy
X
I can commiserate there as the top of my legs, hips and bottom of my back just seem to be in a constant ache and as Keeleybee says it is so difficult to get comfy. You are certainly not alone in this.x
Hi, yes, my legs are always sore, achey, throbbing. My hips are sore and ache but i do have OA in them; and feet and ankles are constantly aching, soles of feet burn too. I often get a pain on my outer ankle bones, feels like someone or something is boring a hole into them. I also get sciatica, runs from my left butt cheek, down the back of my thigh... And that's just the bottom half of my body. I do sympathise with you and all our fibro friends. Take care, Mags x
Hi. My legs ache constantly, usually my calves. My feet hurt alot when i walk but i have RA as well so find it difficult to separate the conditions.
I find that sometimes the more i do , exercise wise, the more i have to pay for it in pain. But some days if i go swimming in the morning and then just try to get on with everything I feel ok. I've found that ,for me, being positive and aknowlaging that things hurt but not letting it rule my days definitely helps me.
This is a wierd condition and we are all different, but if we give up and let it rule us i think we're doomed!
xx
Me too! I have these pains in legs, feet, hips, knees, also shoulders and neck.
I take breakfast to bed with meds, and get up later on. I try and stay positive; - Its only pain -. It is difficult some times, but I try and remain active; swimming, aqua fit, toning tables, ballroom dancing, and growing my own veggies. (Not all at once!)
I am learning to pace myself. Don't always succeed but its good when I do.
Just persevere.
I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are suffering in this way and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck. I must admit that I do, and it is horrid and exhausting. I have sciatic nerve damage and this causes my pain.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Seems to be my legs that are the worst! They are very weak too, can't walk far, always tripping on the stairs, difficult to get up out of a chair. I'm like an old woman, it'll be a Zimmer frame next!!
Yes, my legs constantly ache, my feet burn and on really bad rays feel like I'm walking in knives although gabapentin is helping. I have a funny thing where my toe will drop when I'm walking, have three numb toes on each foot, have to pretend i just tripped like a numpty! Lol. Xxxx
Sorry, meant to add that swimming is heaven for my legs, in fact heaven for everything to do with pain. Xx
Yes some days a lot worse then others , pain is there more then not. I have found using topricin (also used for diabetes), with my feet when my pain isn't way out of control n I found a natural oil with Eucalyptus in it helps when massaged into my legs. I am finding massage therapy helps some too for awhile. Hope this helps I am just trying things on my own to help get relief from my constant pain.
Yes, my main pain is in my feet, legs and ankles. Also hands. I have OA in knees, feet and hands, as well as sciatica from an old prolapsed disc injury, so it all adds to the joy! I tend to get what I've seen described as 'Voodoo Doll pain', which fits it perfectly. It's sharp pain which comes and goes, then moves on somewhere else.
Take care.
I have Pains in both my hips and leg and feet my knees burn too just put it down th my condition it's not good my gabapentin help but can still feel the pain x

Hi, my pain is mainly in the legs, I am beginning to get pain in my hands now too though.
Hi I've just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I have terrible pain in my hips and lower back especially at night which wakes me up. My feet hurt too, usually when I've been resting like I'm walking on stones. Feel reassured by how many others seem to have similar pain. Take care
It's fibromyalgia! I have been suffering from it for years. The pain in my legs & my shins are so terribly painful. They feel like electric shocks when you touch your leg. This is also called Chronic Pain.
Oh yes! Hips right down to the feet...heavy dull ache with muscle spam thrown in for good measure. It's a miserable thing. I, literally, feel your pain and sympathise/empathise with you. I hope tomorrow is kinder to you. x
