This could be related to medication, the best thing to do is see your GP nothing to be embarrassed about. I am female so can't give a definite answer, do seek medical help. Lou x

Aftenoon Itsme,

Welcome to the site it is unusual to say the least to start off with such a personnel question.

Please be assured we take everry inquiry with respect and there fore respectfully ask you to visit your General practitioner and ask the same question.

What tubes ken please

The tubes which carry urine, semen and blood into the penis. They can become blocked for many different reasons. I have a kink in my urine tube that gives me a problem.

How do doctors check that out ken

It depends on where they believe the problem to be, as they can do an ultrasound or urine tests. At the extreme is an endoscope or a dye that you drink (0r have injected) and then they x-ray the area.

Sometimes they will send you to a Urologist who can recommend medications that will help with the problem to try and avoid any unnecessary surgery.

BP meds well high/low BP can effect many things well any thing can to be honest erections and sex drive in male and female is a feel/well being urge so dependent on many things and it's controlled or works by BP.

If you want to pick up your cup of tea you lift your arm as a voluntary movement internal organs are involuntary muscles(you can't control yourself) where as the sex organs esp in males are a sort of in between you control by your emotions/urges but it's still not fully under your control a bit like the remote for TV!

you press the buttons but if battery flat or something in way of signal it's not going to work where as if you press buttons on front of TV it does.

But Fibro etc does effect it yes one of the things is where it makes base of spine painful as many have that's where the nerves etc branch out from spine.

one thing can do is search effects of meds on plus many never realise inc quacks that many meds if crossed ie if having 2 or 3 different meds can cause other problems one reason you need to take list's of meds etc inc non prescription med's with you.

Thank you ken appreciate you for taking time to answer me

I still have a high sex drive but. I am 46 not 21 so if I got what I wished for I think I would have a problem! For me I think it is the mixture of Meds I am on and perhaps not helped by depression of not being a real man as I can no longer work and be the bread winner. If you still have a sex drive and want to my Dr prescribed Viagra and they work! Lol so it's a physical and mental issue your looking at as we'll as some quiet time when your both in the mood. Good luck. P

Why does disability living allowance not recognise this as an illness

Hi Itsme2015

DLA are not really up to date on a lot of medical problems and erection problems could be one of them. So as every one has been saying to you, I will say the same thing. Go and see your GP and he/she should be able to put your mind at rest and be able to tell you if it is fibromyalgia and the meds that could be causing you this problem. Good Luck, and please dont delay going to the doctors.
