Hi nettybetty,

I have never tried to go for pip so I have no advice for you. I to like you work, full time and yes it does take every ounce of energy some days just to get out of bed to go.

I don't have advice for you but sending you hugs instead and try not to let it get you down too much as you don't want to flare up.

Take care

Jo xx

Hello Nettybetty,

We, FibroAction understand the struggles people living with Fibro have when claiming benefits and we can provide you with step by step guides if you email us using info@fibroaction.org.

I personally haven't had the letter to change from DLA to PIP so haven't been through this process, however others in the community may be able to offer advice.

I look forward to hearing from you if you'd like the guides & I sincerely wish you well with your claim.

Best Wishes

Emma :)

i changed from dla to pip had my medical at home and was dissalowed so i asked for a mandatory recon, they refused again so i rang and asked for the claims manager who made the decsion to call me, he did and i was on the phone to him fo 45 mins explaining how i felt he was wrong and that medical evidence i sent in was not looked at properly, i also sent in a letter typed by my husband explaining in detail what i could and could not do from mobility through to washing and cooking, it went in my favour and was awarded advance for both mobility and care, i would suggest your ring Pip and ask the claims manager who dealt with your case to call you, and if u have any supportive letters or if you can do one yourself send it strait in by special delivery, i also contacted my local mp who was of great help, good luck
