Been given stronger painkillers, stronger sleeping tablets and been referred to physiotherapy, don't know if this is good or not, should there be more things I should be getting referred for?

You might find that the increase in medications and the help of a physio really helps you.

Have you ever actually been referred to a Pain Clinic? Sometimes Acupuncture or Hydrotherapy are offered. Doctors sometimes suggest that you could perhaps try an Expert Patients Programme so you can learn how to live with your illness.

I am sure others will have a lot more suggestions. Let us know how you are with your new regime.x

Thanks rose wine, nope not been referred to a pain clinic yet, just physio today, he wants to see how I get on with that and the stronger meds, I've to see him again in another 4 weeks for a review. I will keep you updated

I agree completely with rosewine, as both pain killers and physio may help you a lot. It is always helpful to try and get a referral to a pain management clinic, as they can recommend the best pain management treatment for you.
