Has anyone tried Human Growth Hormone for FMS ?

Hi, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia last October and I was wondering if anyone has tried HGH ? It states on wiki that "initial studies yielded promising results", any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated.

I had a look at various information about this, from what I've seen it's only passed for use in children with growth problems and a couple of other conditions, it is banned for use in sports and can be dangerous. I would see a medical professional about this just to check on the safety aspect. The main worry is there is not enough known about long term use. xx

I have never come across this as a treatment for for Fibro myself, and I would definitely discuss it with your GP or Medical Specialist first? If they feel it is okay to go ahead I would like to wish you all the best of luck and please keep us updated with your progress.

I'm so glad you posted this and really intrigued.

I've never heard of this and I have really trawled the internet so it's obviously something I've missed. I shall definitely have a read and come back to you with my thoughts and opinions.

It will be interesting to find out if anyone whose benefited from this treatment would be willing to share their experiences with us - this might take a social media search but could be quite informative.

I asked my GP about this 14 months ago and he referred me to Rheumatology for answers. I have only just received an appointment for March 2016. I was browsing here in the hope of finding others who have been treated with human growth hormone too as the information all seems both favourable and logical.
