A quick search on Bing gave me this: drugs.com/sfx/gabapentin-si...

It's really not hard to find info about various drugs online, you just type the name into your search engine.

Hiya hope you're feeling okay and not in too much pain. I've been taking these tablets for about 4 weeks now, I'm on very low dose one 100gms 3 times aday and I feel so much better. It is worth giving these a try but on a low dose to start with. I must state I'm also on amitriptyline and sertraline as well. Good luck and I hope you start to feel better soon. Paula x

I think the worst side effect of these is weight gain. They do take a while to work effectively, they are not like taking paracetamol, but they do help with the pain. If you need to increase the dose, do it very slowly, otherwise you can get a bit spaced out with them. I hope that helps, Linda.

Hi, I was on gabapentin and found that it did not suit me at all. My gp transferred me to pregabalin and I was fine, but there have been people who post on here that have the opposite happen to them, and they are fine on gab, but cannot tolerate pregabalin, so good luck starting on the gabapentin, I hope it suits and helps you, Julie xxx

I have been taking it for a couple of weeks, starting my dose to three a day Monday. I've tried tramadol and all sorts, this one seems to be helping the most. Hope it helps for you xxx

Hi, I found that for the first few weeks (maybe 4 wks?) that I felt worse - more pain, etc, and had to be careful with the dose - gradually increased dose, then when couldn't tolerate higher dose, reduced it slightly. but now I have foubd that it is giving some relief, my stamina levels and recovery time from flares are better, although I don't think the pain is improved by much.

Give it a try and making a symptom diary (just a note of how u r feeling each day) may help - u can look back over a period of time and see if symptoms have improved or and new side effects etc and then if necessary discuss with your gp.

Good luck & hope u get some relief. X
