Hello Romaelet

Welcome to the forum :)

You don't say how long you have had Fibromyalgia for?

If you take a look at our mother site you can find a list of the more common symptoms of Fibromyalgia fmauk.org

The feeling of vibrations inside your body is actually a symptom of Fibromyalgia which quite a few of us suffer from.

It is a very strange feeling and so I understand completely why you are feeling the way you do.

Please don't panic. It is "normal" for Fibro sufferers.

However, something I would say is that if you get symptoms that are new to you, it is always best to get it checked out by your GP.

I can see that you are in the US so I don't know how easy it is for you to see a doctor but I think it would be a good idea to get it checked out.

We have a handful of members from the US.

Once again a very warm welcome to the forum and I look forward to chatting to you again.

Wishing you much peace

Hi there, never had this in top half except when i seriously over did caffeine and was buzzing and throbbing and yes vibrating for a couple of hours. But i do get this in legs frequently if i dont get them up to rest them. I hope you get a good answer and guidance on this worrying and annoying problem.

Blessings

Hi Romaelet welcome to our wonderful forum ☺ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences.

It does help with the whole process and I wish I had found the site years ago. I have had Fibro for nearly 30 yrs and I'm still learning about it, like we all are.

I'm sorry you are experiencing the horrible vibration sensations but as BlueMermaid3 has said, it is normal with fibromyalgia and do mention to doctor. I hope you can get some relief from it. I find amitriptyline is a drug that helps because it relaxes you & helps sleep. It is widely used to help treat Fibro. I look forward to chatting to you on the forum.

Peace, luv n light

Jan ☺

Hello Romaelet and a warm welcome to our friendly fibro forum, where you can find help, support, advice and understanding.

I think you will find that there are many sufferers here who can relate to your problems, I am not sure what sets it off but it is a fibro symptom.

As others have said, if it is something new then I suggest you see your doctor.

i,too, suffer from the "shakes",mainly upper body. i've had fibro for about a dozen years with the shaking only coming on for the last two years. it started with a low sodium problem. i've learned how i need to deal with it but it's different for everyone. if you have a p.c.p. please make an appt. asking them to run a regular blood panel. if don't have a p.c.p. call urgent cares and emergency hospital to see if they can run blood test without all the hassle at the emergency room. i live in oregon and have found the some of the urgent care places are terrific help. it's always important to get anything new checked out. i know i feel like i'm going crazy or the dr. might think so but i've learned to listen to my body. in the meantime, i have found that taking a bath with epsom salts has helped somewhat. not too long in the bath though at least for me. i'm not a doctor. just passing on my experiences. best of luck. if want to talk more, feel free to write. i don't pick up every day but try to a couple times a week. hang in there!!

Hi Romaelet

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance.

I would get this checked out as it could be related to other medical conditions such as spondylosis in the neck etc. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken
