I received my pip letter today to say i have been awarded enhanced rate for care and mobility for an ongoing period,i would like to say a big thank you to all on site for providing me with the free guides on how to complete a mammoth task of filling out the forms,many many thanks x

no wasnt called for a medical,received a letter first that they had all the information they wanted and then around two weeks received award letter,first applied in oct 2014 from my dla,from what i read its been pretty quick compared to other people,x

Congratulations! Yep, that seems pretty quick to me, but if your particular case really demonstrates a dire need, then it seems to me it would be given to you pretty soon.

Just been to post box Iv now got my appointment thought its on 23rd of February at 9am in morning so hope my husband off to take me cos it's a bit away from where I am and so early so scared now fingers crossed x

Brilliant news for you, i had my medical in November and waited a week to hear that i had been awarded Enhanced care until 2017. such a weight lifted isnt it. I had some amazing help from everyone on here as well when i was applying for my PIP, its like being in one big family with everyone who understands you. Enjoy your PIP and hope it makes your life much better :-) x

Got my assessment on Tuesday with Capita. Keeping fingers crossed [mentally not physically, my fingers are to sore] that I get a nice sympathetic person.
