Finally I have managed to get my gp to refer me to a rheumatologist. After waking for the past 4 nights with pains in my limbs. Been so tired as well and struggle to stay awake at work.
At least If I get a diagnosis I'll be able to start to be able to do what is recommended to help.

Well done but keep in mind that This is just the beginning of your journey. Depending on how 'good' the Rheumy is, you may come out with a diagnosis that perfectly sums up your condition, one you can work with and hopefully address to improve the quality of your life.
Continue to do your research and ask lots of questions. If the given diagnosis only describes part of what you're experiencing, don't hold back. Challenge, challenge and challenge some more until you get what you need. You have already proved that you can be persistent and effective so I wish you all the very best at your appointment.
I am awaiting to see a rheumo as I have all the fibro symptoms. Worst of all is the general fatigue most of the day, sleep badly and do not feel as if I am having any replenishing sleep. I was taken off ESA as deemed fit for work (right!), now back on in. I have terrible aches and pains and depression. All vits ok except B12 247 but doctors will not give injections so will self treat somehow. Tired and feeling low......
Thanks all. Really appreciate your understanding and support.
Marmaris hope you haven't got to long a wait to see you rheumo. My gp gave me a choice and I opted for the quickest, so am there on the 25th. Make sure you appeal once you have seen the rheumo. My sister has fibro and she is unable to work with it and had to appeal. Now she's in the support group. I'm too stubborn to give in to my symptoms, after getting out of a bad marriage, bringing up 4 children alone I decided to go back to college and get a career, which I have done so am not going to give in yet after all my hard work.
