If you find that you cannot work and have to go on long term sick when the sickness pay ceases you might be eligible for ESA. Also as Ginsing says you may also be eligible for PIP. If you go on GOV.UK you will see all the disability benefits and information about them and there is also a Benefit Calculator that should show what you would be entitled to in your particular circumstances. The Benefit and Work site is also a good source of information and if you click on the FibroAction logo that will take you to the Mother site where you can also get good information. This is exactly the way I feel and I know my health wouldnt be as bad if I were to stop working, however, our mortgage is in my name and it does not seem as if there is any financial help available for people who have their own home. Also, my husband has a bad heart and can only work part time too. The state of our home depresses me as I do not have the energy to do anything after working, so therefore it is a vicious circle.

How many more of us feel like this? xx
