I have been to the doctors the options. The A&E .they just give me eye drops I always get eye infection and also bright lights hurts.all my gaggets are turned down so they are not bright also my tv in the bedroom is not bright I hate it....

Photo-phobia sensitivity to light, eye pain seeing spots and a variety of other dysfunctions of the eyes intolerance to bright lights (particularly fluorescent)

The increased sensitivity may also extend into chemical sensitivity and sound sensitivity something worth monitoring.

Wear sunglasses unless the room can be darkened and use a good quality sleep mask when resting the eyes it's easier than blacking out the room.

I am so sorry to read that you are experiencing this and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue. I agree with Ian123, as it could be Photo-phobia sensitivity to light. I get this quite a lot as a result of my migraines. Do you get headaches of any kind with yours?

Have they tested your immune system check out sjorgrens syndrom ? Might be an option

Hope you get some relief.(dry gritty eyes ,dry mouth ,thirsty , tried ,) take a look at NHS site .

Hi, have you been to an eye specialist? Not just an eye doctor but an ophthalmologist as it might be inflammation of the eye which is serious and left untreated can be every bad for your vision. I've had it twice. Hope this helps. xx Mitzi
