Yes, I have dry eyes and fibro. Doc gives me carmellose (celluvisc) eye drops on prescription. I'm on pregabalin and I believe it can be a side effect of the pills. I can't remember which came first for me, the dry eyes, the pain or the pills!

I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are suffering with this issue, and I sincerely hope that you can find some relief to it. I have the opposite, as my eyes sting and run a lot. If it persists or gets any worse i would discuss it with an Optician just to get any other medical conditions ruled out of the equation. I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Yes I have this problem, but have always thought it was the thyroid causing the dry eyes. MariLiz

Hi and Merry Xmas to you and yours,

I too, suffer with dry eyes. My GP referred me to the eye clinic to see an Optometrist. He has changed the eye drops I was originally using to Carmellose eye drops, four times a day with a different drop to use prior to bedtime. In addition, been referred to the dry eye clinic.

sounds like you've seen an optometrist. might call back if what you have isn't helping. i use over the counter eye gel every night and add each time i wake up in the night. can be annoying trying to see with the gel but without it my eyes hurt terribly all day. also might try hot compresses throughout the day.
