Fibro Pain
Hi Maureen and welcome to what I consider to be the very best site for information, support and friendliness
You might like to take a look at our mother site fibroaction.org where there is a lot of information which you might find useful, together with notes of fibro friendly dr's etc.
As one of our highly esteem administrators Ginsing, says, draw up a chair and wait for the fun to start. A lot of us find that laughter is a good way forward and releases feel good endorphins, so do feel free to join in as and when you want to
You have my complete sympathy with the quality and in my case, lack of, sleep, it is very debilitating, and as you also say I think the weather is kicking all of us quite hard at the moment. Can I ask whereabouts you live, roughly, but I won't be offended if you would prefer not to, why I ask is that we are a UK based site, but we are finding increasing numbers of people from the USA are joining us, which is great, but it helps to know as drug names etc.l are different !
Excuse my ramble, I am sending lots of positive healing and sleep quality boosting vibes your way
Foggy x

Hi mo1mo2
Welcome to the forum, and I genuinely hope that you find it useful, informative and loads of fun! It is wonderful to make your acquaintance, and I Iook forward to bumping into you around the forum. I can see that our ''Foggy'' has given you the link to our mother site, ''FibroAction'' and it is loaded with useful Fibro information.
I am so sorry to read that you are struggling so much, and I was wondering what medications you were taking? If your current drugs are not working it would be worth discussing this issue with your GP or Medical Specialist, as there are plenty that they could discuss with you and let you try? I have found that pain management is a question of trial and error, and what may work for one patient may not work well for another.
I want to wish you all the best of luck with finding the right combination of medication for your pain.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
