Morning I too have been awake since 3.00am I loath it. Your description pretty much fits me if it is not one leg it is the other. The hands distract me a little at least I can wave them in the air massage them . Any way Up now waiting for pain killers to click in :)

Take care keep warm

Hi Fibro 10,

Not sleeping drives me crazy & then aggravates everything.

Interested in your comment re tight chest. I suffer with this horrible tight Chet hugging, in bouts, but quite often.

Does this happen to you or anyone else reading this? Is it all part of FM (also diagnosed with CFS/ME, Atrophy Thyroid, Pituitary Adenoma).

Hi

Yes the tight chest can be part of fibro - inflammation of the intercostal muscles, rather like having a chest infection or pleurisy, or having pulled a muscle, really painful but not dangerous I am told. May be worth checking with your GP though in case there's another cause for you.
