Hi Cefn sounds as if you have had a terrible night I am so sorry I know just how you feel and it is wretched,
Have you managed to get out of bed? I find being up is a bit easier- tea helps a bit/
What medication are you on?
One of the good pain blockers and mood lightebers is Duloxetine I find it very helpful I think it is time you had a medicine review so tomorrow make an appointment with uyour Doctor and have a good chat with him. Make a list of how you are and how you feel. Where the pain is worst it is so easy when you get un to the room to miss things that make such a difference!
Take today really gently let us know how you are

Hi Cefn, hoping you are getting a relaxing day after last night, these are very testing nights arent they.
Having a reasonable day as far as pain is concerned still very tired though. Im glad you are relaxing now, some nights just go on for ever.
Defo do that lol xx
Hi
I really do understand I have cried many nights with the pain. I'm lucky my husband understands best he can not having this awful blind to the eye condition. I suffer with Crohns/Colitis too and horrible depression to top of it. Plus I work 3 mornings a week. Sometimes just trying to feel sleepy enough to fall off to sleep is hard enough, knowing I have work, getting up early in morning is tough.
Here's hoping we both have good sleeps tonight.
Hope your pain is under control.
Lucy
I sympathise. It's awlful. No one but a fellow sufferer can understand fully. I've had fybro for so long now that I've forgotten what it's like to feel normal. It's the lack of sleep that is getting me down. I'm so tired when I go to bed but the pain keeps me awake. Fear not you and I do not suffer alone there are many of us out there. Chin up and fight on. Perhaps your Dr can help you with something extra at night . Amitriptyline ?
Sorry to hear that You are in pain Cefn. It's hard for other people that don't have fibro, to know what we go through. Especially, when You run into a friend somewhere and they want to hit You on your back to acknowledge You and You start agonizing with pain after they do this. I have the pain real bad in my neck as well. I have to go and see a Neck surgeon to see what He recommends since it is so hard to turn either way. I don't work anymore and it's even hard to justify not being able to work with this stuff and I have been turned down for Soc Sec Disability. The sad thing is the doctors that diagnose You don't back up what they tell You by putting it in writing in your medical records. So, You tell other doctors and then when they look at your records they act like I am telling them a lie since the arthritis doctor I had didn't write much in there to make it where people can take fibro serious enough. But, at least WE know what You are going through and understand the discomforts and the pain you are dealing with. IT is real. If your husband doesn't understand what You are going through by all means, show Him this email and others that are going through the pain we all go through having fibro. If He checks with your Arthritis doctor just like I had my wife go with me for my appointment, she knows the pain is real and she has heard my doctor tell me in front of her that there is no diagnosis for fibro. They can only give out prescriptions that they hope works, but may not work at all. So, hang in there. You are not alone. Ron
I hope you feel better soon sweetie, have you tried having a nice hot bath and then a hot drink and some lavender on your pillow I know its not a solution but sometimes when we are in pain even the smallest little bit of pampering makes you feel a bit better. I have to take so many tablets for the pains I have to keep an alarm going on my phone so I remember when to take them or I get confused, fibro fog!! sending you huge fluffy hugs. xx
Hi, I've had Fybro for years and have tried all sorts of tablets. I'm on Ropinerole for my RLS and have very recently been prescribed Duloxetene which is helping a great deal with my pain. The doc prescribed Amitryptelene but it made my legs worse, then Tramadol but it made me terribly nauseous. I read about Duloxetene for Fybro on the web somewhere and went along clutching my i-pad to show her. She agreed and prescribed it. So far the pain has lessened considerably. I used to feel like I'd been beaten with a baseball bat first thing. I'm now feeling much better. I hope you find something that works for you.

Thanks me to ill ask the doc about them tabs like they say if u dont ask u dont get lol xx
