Restless legs & arms

Been suffering terrible restless legs and arms all week its driving me crazy now, just awful. Any advice will be very gratefully received

Sorry to hear you got restless arms and legs I find that transvasin rub helps

Sorry to here about RLS I too suffer with it so badly that in the night I rub one foot against the other and then end up with blisters and bandages and dressings for weeks due to weeping skin.

There are drugs for Epilipsy called Pramapexole ask GP

I am so sorry to read that you are suffering in this way, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue. I may help to discuss this with your GP, as there are medications for restless leg syndrome if your GP is agreeable to giving them to you?

Hi bubblensqueak. I suffer with the same thing all day an night got so bad I did go to the doctors an he gave me pramipexole an its the best thing ever so hope it works for you sending gentle hugs

Hi all you fellow jiggers! I used to suffer badly until I read of a remedy on this site. Just put a normal bar of soap under your knees or between your foot & the floor. It works for me!

The tiny electrical impulse that causes your twitch ends up in the soap, somehow stopping the jerk. I also get shooting pains in my legs, feet or hands, which causes them to jump & again, the soap stops it.

However stupid it sounds, try it! you have nothing to loose!

I also suffer restless legs and my gp prescribed me Methocarbamol/Robaxin which really helped with no side effects once i got used to them. I was also advised to take magnesium which has helped so much i no longer/rarely take the Robaxin.

Personally if the magnesium work i'd prefer to take them than meds.

I hope you get some help, a word with your gp and see what they say

Hi Bubblensqueak, i found vit d from doc ver helpful with this. A lot of fibromites have low levels which cause pain and spasms. Baths with epsom salts also help. Good luck.
