Well Horse riding would be nice but i dont think i could even manage to get in the saddle nowadays and afterwards i would be walking like a thunderbird puppet ,shopping but i dont like crowds i get panic attacks feeling i cant breath so i will give that a miss too, and at the moment i am suffering from fine cactus needles under skin for some reason when we had a few days nice weather i was pottering in the garden and got a lovely colour on my arms and back only to bubble up peel terribly and now have blistery spots under the skin ,itching burning when i scratch but its hard not too scratch when i am so called sleeping i have had this problem many years ago but never been sensitive to the sun like this and to top it all a bad case of night time post nasal drip. So now i have depressed all of you reading this oh yes did i mention Pain. Tell you what i shall make some cakes, talk to the dogs, they always listen mind you for some reason they fall asleep quickly i think they realize i am a fruit and nut, watch a film i am sure there will be a couple of other things in between and tomorrow wait for it, yes hospital app going to see those people that never listen to what you are saying, talk to you as if you were making it all up and are completly stupid oh what fun now as they say put your best foot forward LOL if only i had one

Freshly baked bread rolls if I ate bread I would be knocking on your door!!

xGins

Betty67 profile image
Betty67 in reply toGinsing

They are wheat free so if I hadn't eaten them all you would be welcome.

Mix together 2 tablespoons ricotta with an egg. Then add 3 tablespoons of oat bran and handful of dried fruit. Bake about 180 of 10 - 15 minutes. Sometimes add dried herbs instead of fruit.

xgins

Lolis profile image
Lolis in reply toGinsing

Absolutely! We picked them ourselves at the local fruit farm on Saturday, £4 for a basket full. We only get to do it once a year, so it was worth the extra pain to spend that time with my partner & we have fridge full of strawberries! I'm thinking of making him a strawberry meringue pavlova, if I have the energy today. Just to show him how much I appreciate how hard he works for us. Can't wait to see his face when he gets home tonight :D xx

Morning from Skipsea East Yorkshire, the Birds are singing the sun is shining and the Sea and Sky are bluer than blue. Felt awful first thing but sat on my decking, looking out to sea as made me feel loads better in myself. And mines toast and strawberry jam if anyone's offering.

Morning from mild Manchester! I'm late to the thread, the deadline has expired although I've been up since 5am. I'm at hospital clothed in stockings, paper pants and bottom revealing gown, waiting for a procedure to be done on my hips.

AND to make matters worse, I haven't had so much as a cup of tea. I'm gasping for a drink :o!

I do hope everyone's day is much lovelier :)

Xx

Morning from the sunny Itchen Valley.

Fluffies are up and about delivering hot fresh toast. I've had muesli. You asked for ideas, lets go to LEGOLAND with the nursery group. We're about the same mental age. Cookie is out starting the magic bus as we speak (write)

Well, afternoon now, late as usual. The laptop chose today to go into a major sulk.

Afternoon gins, well what a great post, it's so lovely for all the people joining in YAY. :-)

Here in sunny Devon I'm in a complete muddle. I was really exhausted yesterday and decided at about 5.30 pm that I might just need a kipper, so off to bed with the doglets for "half an hour or so" ..................... Came to at 3.00 am and realised in my fuddled state that the doglets must be busting to go out, ......... downstairs only to find that I had left my front door and the lobby door wide open :o Doglets out and watered I thought I would struggle to get any more sleep but nope, I must have been awake for about half an hour and then woke again at 10.45 am............. That is the best sleep I have had in ages, I knew I was exhausted, but not to that level ! Anyway three hours later and I'm completely exhausted again and have run out of food, yet don't have the energy or inclination to get in my car to get some. Ho hum :o

I am really late joining you, but I wanted to say hi.

Is this a regular thread? I would love to join in with the community and get to know you all better. When I came across this it was already 19hrs. old. But then, I am in California and 8 hours behind many of you.

I started my day today with my usual cup of coffee, took my meds with a banana, fed the cats, took the dogs out for a walk on our local estuary trails. Then I came back and made oatmeal (porridge to you!) with peaches and strawberries. That was heaven in a bowl. It seems like lately oatmeal is one of the few foods my stomach tolerates in the am.

Feeling this good I decided to do 3 loads of laundry, towels and sheets. I can barely move now. I know better. But it feels good to be done with it. And no hand, wrist, and arm pain today. Yay.

I hope everybody is doing well now or dealing well with what wasn't feeling well so before.
