Hi all, hope you are not feeling to bad today. I suddenly developed numbness in my feet and legs, was bad yesterday.

It has gone off today and just tingling, I just wondered if anyone else on here has had a similar feeling or is this yet another thing sent to plague me? thanks x

maybe but or a lot of us. Mostly when our backs are damaged the nerves get trapped and

then we get numb feet tingling pins and needles if it continues I would recommend you get a

appointment with your Doctor best to get it checked out thoroughly . Your Doctor may assist you

with physio or what ever he deems appropriate.

Hi black-storm, I too get lots of odd tingling and almost electric shock like sensations, as gins says, mine mostly stems from my back, but sometimes from neck and shoulders sending these odd sensations up into my scalp, which can be very unnerving. I think it is just another one of the tricks fibro has up it's sleeve to throw at us now and again.

I really hope things improve for you, but you are certainly not alone in having these symptoms, I know that doesn't make it better, but I at least felt less worried when I knew it wasn't just me.

Thanks Gins, I'm booking an appointment tomorrow to see my doctor, best to check. I just wondered if I was alone with this new symptom or if it was something to do with fibro. Have so many different ones and then new ones come along to join the fun. The joys of arthritis and fibro eh... xx

You are not alone I like others get very similar symptoms it is like all the nerve endings are on overtime and yet other times my feet seem to have lost their feeling. Let us know how you get on at the doctors tomorrowx

I am so sorry to read that you are experiencing this issue, and I genuinely hope that you get the answers that you desire and deserve. I have a similar (but more sharper electric) sensation due to a disc problem. As I am not a doctor I cannot really say that this is what is happening with you.

With anything of this nature it is always best to discuss the issue with your GP just to have anything else rule out.

I was gonna ask a similar question! the left side of my left foot and 2 toes feel numb and if I touch my foot on that side anywhere from the ankle down I get a shooting, tingley, numb feeling all down that side. I asked the doc about it and she said 'it looks a normal colour, it's fine'. it's really annoying me though.

I guess numbness is just another fibro symptom, sigh.

I have Fibro. I also have ruptured disk's in my back that cause those same symptoms. You'll need an MRI sweetheart, to confirm or rule out. Hope this helps and you find some answers as well as relief. xxxx Mitzi
