pip problems
Hi jakethemus,
This is only my humble opinion, but I think that the whole of the DWP and all it covers has been one huge muddle, especially with the resignation of ATOS and so there has been and will be for some time I fear, a huge backlog in cases. I've heard lots of stories from people who have gone through much the same as you and it is to my mind, criminal that people with genuinely horrible problems are having them exacerbated by the stress caused by the incompetence of the whole set up.
I can't say much more than I'm so sorry you are going through this, but you are not alone, not by a long shot, though I know that probably won't be of much comfort to you. Keep contacting them thought as I know of two or three people who did this and it got the people to listen, nothing like the power of nagging !
I really wish you well and hope this is cleared up very soon for you
Foggy x
Hi jakethemus
I am so sorry to read that you have been waiting for so long and there really is a huge backlog of cases to assess. On the BBC news channel last week they said that there was a backlog of 700,000 ESA claimants alone! So it could take a while to get a decision. So please keep on in there and fight for what you are legally entitled too.
I want to wish you all the best of luck with your claim.
Ken
17 months seems to be the average at the moment. I would think it a good way of fudging the figures. While more are waiting less are claiming?
Please don`t give up. That is what they are hoping will happen then they can claim their reforms work.
