Hello Alan I have had problems with bruising for years. I have lost count the number of doctors doing numerous tests I have had try to find an answer, non ever found but I have seen bruising listed as a fibro symptom.

Having said that I do urge you to see a doctor and get it checked out.

Hi,

Hi Alan55

I am so sorry to read that you have hurt yourself in this way, and I hope that it clears up soon. As mayrose54 says it is best to get it checked out. Usually with a swelling and bruise, a nurse at your surgery would put a cold compress on it to bring down the swelling. A walk-in Centre should also do the same for you?

Good luck
