Last night I watched a wildlife programme about insects, on there was this certain type of tropical fly that lays it's eggs in the caterpillar it uses for a host, then the critters hatch and eat the hell out of the caterpillar, (sorry if I am grossing anyone out , or double apologies if you are eating!) whilst watching this I thought that is what fibromyalgia feels like , the illness jumps on you and it is sucking the life out of people , so I felt so sorry for the caterpillar and did not watch the rest of the programme!

Hi electricjaws
I am so sorry to read that you are suffering in this way, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to your pain and suffering. It is quite an interesting analogy as it is comparable to the feeling of Fibro at times!
I saw a similar documentary a long time ago about a wild wasp in Africa that lays it egg inside a spider and the same thing happens. It just proves that nature can be very cruel and abhorrent despite its infinite beauty.
All my hopes and dreams for you

Never thought of that before. Good analogy, not surprised you couldn't watch the rest of the programme!
Yes can see the connection.
