Well. A bit of a dramatic headline but you may want to read the bits about PIP and DLA

And I could not waste an opportunity for a photo

Well well, I hope he can substantiate his claim, could\will be very bad for his career, when he can't! As for the DWP workers having targets for sanctions, I had suspected as much.

Hey up my friend. Just for one minute I thought I had been transported into an alternate reality whereby cats were cute, marmite tasted like jam and magical pixies made my sandwiches for me?

The mind truly boggles!

When you go into the enterance there is a table top made from sections of tube by Accles and Pollock,

At one time most of our family worked there it was where my son started to learn metallergy and this table top was stuck at the back of his office gathering dust

. It was donated to the museum when the company closed. It fasinated me and I was really pleased when I looked it up on the web to see that it now has a pride of place .

So when you see it think of me and the times i tried to dust it.. hug sue xx

I'll wave as we go through. I don't think my fibro will let me leg it, though i have motored through tunnels on occassion.

Is that where villains get their expression when they see a policeman? "right lads, leg it?" :P

in reply to fenbadger

The first time we went my daughter tried it, she was only small at the time and her legs didn`t quite reach so they had to hang onto her in case she fell off. :P

I went 15 - 20 years ago. I remember the very chatty lady in the chain maker's house. The shop, canal, tunnel and mine

in reply to fenbadger
