Hi All,

We are launching an email newsletter soon and would like to invite you all to join and also test the sign up process so we can iron out any niggles that may be present. The newsletter will feature content about our activities, items from groups, from fibro writers, research items and other items we feel relevant.

We intend that our first newsletter will be out in June.

There are a number of people that have not confirmed their email address after signing up. When you fill in the form it will send you an email that you will need to click a link to confirm your email address is correct. Then 10 minutes later or so you will get another email that has some basic info within it.

Check you junk / spam or non focussed mailbox in case there is an email that you have missed.

Hi Des; I was about to sign up for the newsletter, but as soon as I clicked it it came back with (insecure page). I checked, and although the main part is secure, the signup itself is not. Only Http, not Https.

Might be an idea to have them check on this, I'd love to sign up, but I'm not clicking on an Insecure site. It might even eventually get to the Main site.

I'm not a fan of Copy/paste, so I clicked the link. Don't know where it took me, but it was definitely just http. Tried again and it's fine now.

then in your browser check the address bar is saying as the site is secure as per the screenshot above.
