So I am new to this site, the reason I have come here is because I have nowhere else to go. I am 33 year old male and I live in North West London. Five years ago I snowboarding accident where hit a rock very hard directly on my left shoulder. On my return I had an x- ray which was clear of any brakes or fractures, I was in disbelief due to the pain the fall had caused but I carried on. Gradually over the five years my health has disintegrated where I can barely get out of bed on a daily basis. My pains are all over my body, my muscles are so tight that I am completely restricted around my neck shoulders(which feel like they are always burning) and back, I feel like I freeze up and lock in places where I cannot turn my head, my stomach is constantly swollen and all my muscles around my stomach feel completely mashed up and inflamed and out of place. Today, my whole left side is dead and I have been getting pins and needles. To say this has affected me is a massive understatement, I have ben looking into treatment in the uk and I cannot find anything, I have been sent to numerous doctors, therapists, sports doctors, received acupuncture. Do I have fibromalgyia as it does feel like my body has been taken over and at present I am losing miserably. My life revolved around sport and keeping fit and now I am fighting something that I do not what it is, it scares the hell out of me , does anyone have any information for me please, or have heard of the Marshall Protocol ? Happy reading Zac :)

Have you tried a good chiropractor?

Honey, it sure sounds like it. Question: look at your hands, do you have the half moons near the cuticle on most of your fingers? I once read that people with fibro have little to no half moons. I only have 3 out of 10 and they aren't very big. Hopefully I can help answer your questions. You sound as though you have it and if so should be checked, then possibly sent to pain management. It makes a world of difference. Praying you find relief soon sweetheart!!! xxx Mitzi

Hi it sounds just may be you have a trapped nerve somewhere that can cause a lot of pain and pins and needles.numbness.ask your g.p to send you to a chiropractor, that might help.and ask your gp to send you for xrays.hope that helps.

Sounds like fibro, i had similar reaction after 2 car crashes, main problem stemming from neck, then gradual disintegration. Bowen therapy helped release worst of tightness snd restriction in neck, not all of it and still pain but not as much and can move it more now. Fibro diagnosed by rheumatologist.

Have you seen a consultant neurologist as it sounds as though you may have some nerve damage. I have had a similar experience since a very bad 7ft head first fall four years ago since which I get fibro pains in all parts of my body at different times, also arthritis in my neck and upper spine. I think the fall triggered tendonitis in both shoulders and I still get nerve cramps down both arms. Sue
