have you asked mdaisy for the advice sheets?

the fibroaction site is temporarily unavailable at the moment.

have you asked your gp, consultant(s) and other medical staff for letters of support? ask them to send their letters direct to you to put in your claim pack. make several copies as you may need them again.

I also asked the cab for help. many areas have "advocates for vulnerable adults", your local council website may list them, or age uk can help people over 50.

write an appeal letter that simply states something like -

"I wish to appeal this decision as I do not feel you were able to take full consideration of my condition (s) ."

you can add

"further evidence can be provided if required."

don't go into detail, save that for your claim pack - to include the

support letters, and any other info you might get from reliable sources - inc info from fibroaction.

ask me again if you need to.

regards,

sandra.

Hi mazzer2

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I am so sorry to read your news. However, please do not give up.

I think that sandra99b has given you some wonderful advice and I would really go for it. If you also have a local Disability Direct near to where you live, I would also consult with them.

I want to wish you all the best of luck and please keep us all up to date with how you get on?

Take care

Ken

Don't give up, it took me 3 times and 1 appeal with same conditions as you plus one other, so though a lot of pushing, paperwork and time we can and deserve it with our disabling conditions.

All the best

I'm sorry to hear your news, but you must keep fighting, the advice already given is right and I would suggest writing a letter to your MP about the fight you are having just to get some extra help. The more they know about how cruel this system is the better, my MP is good and has helped me in the past but even if your MP is part of the awful government they need to know how there policies are hurting ill and disabled people.

Wishing you luck and don't let them win, keep fighting for your rights. Xxxx

I really can't add any more to the points already provided, I'am about to submit a new claim for PIP and also have the same symptoms as yourself,

I don't recevie any benefits as I have a company pension payed due to my health condition, So this PIP claim is long over due as I lack the confidance for the face to face medical assessment........

I wish you the very best wishes in you appeal and further support from CAB.......Good luck..

hope you find the help here. also your local council should have a welfare department that will help you.

Hi cazz

I am so sorry to read that you have not qualified for your PIP. I was wondering what your next action would be? Are you going to fight the decision?

If so, I want to wish you all the best of luck with this.
