my partner claimed esa from 14th march but cant get any money yet

esa wont pay us ,and taking my dla into consideration , as income ,we are fuming wrang last week for explantion but no joy ,cost us a fortune in calls .said going to get paid today but nothing ,,so no food in ,bills to pay .got intouch with cab but no joy .still waiting for them to wring to find out whats going on ,this should have been at 9 am .what can i do know ,please advice me ,.my partner of work through a bulging disc and i cant work nether ,help p,ls .thanks

I didnt they could count dla or pip as income. As i thought it wasnt means tested....i could be wrong tho

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I am so sorry to read that you have been left with no money, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue.

I have pasted you a general link to the GOV.UK disability benefits site, which hosts links for ESA and PIP. I was under the impression that PIP was a non-tax deductible benefit and therefore not taken into account when adding and compiling incomes, it may well be worth checking up on this status?
