Mother,s day thought!

If it is true that girls are inclined to marry men like their father, it is understandable why so many mothers cry so much at weddings :p

Enjoy your mothers day!!!

It made think of my daughters husband and compare him to mine, they are like chalk and cheese, and that made me laugh :P thanks sue

My daughters' hubbies are quite like their dad, with a few differences ofcourse. Just for the record, I didn't cry at their weddings and I am happily married :) have I covered my back :p

I didn`t cry either,I was too busy trying to hang on to their 18 mth son.

It is funny that at a daughter's wedding you are given this wonderful title of "mother of the bride" and you spend the day keeping kids in check and making sure all goes without a hitch. Mothers what would we do without them!!! :)

Hi triedalot40

Thank you much for this, it is very funny! I was told that I had to give my daughter away and, me being me, I tried to open financial negotiations with the grooms family prior to the wedding! I just thought that she had cost me so much money over the years, that I should get a financial return on her!

Take care

Hehehe, you sound just my hubby :) installment plans was the last one, he reckons it is only fair that we bring up beautiful girls for these young men to steal them away and benefit from our labours that they pay for the priveledge, and of course the added pleasure of us as in laws :) big hugs from a wonderful in law ;)

Do, but then on another thought, I do have the most gorgeous granddaughter who I get all of the hugs and cuddles from and none of the late nights and foot stamps :) aaaah! the joys of kids. Take care, from a "danny" who wouldn't change a thing!! :)
