Fibro can it run in familys
Short answer yes. It can. My mum has ME and has had two separate strains of it. Last year I was diagnosed with fibro and ME. I'm hoping mine is short lived like my mums first illness and not like her current one which she has had for over 20 years.

I was diagnosed in 2011 after years of going back and forth to the GP with various ailments. Now both my daughter and my cousin have started suffering the same sort of problems. I don't know for sure as neither have been diagnosed yet but from what I can see the answer would be yes x
Hi,
yes, it can. My sister has it and so do I. Looking back I am also wondering if my late mum had it as well.

Hi Sharron1
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I am so sorry to read that your daughter is suffering in this way and genuinely hope that you can all find some resolution and relief to this issue.
My wife suffers with MS, and I asked the consultant at the hospital if there were any hereditary factors and could our children develop this as they get older, and he said 'No', but it is a worry, so I can truly understand your concern over Fibro.
I have pasted you the link to the FibroAction website below:
I sincerely hope that you can find the answers that you are looking for?
All my hopes and dreams for you
