Last Friday I went to the dentist to have a filling put and receiving an injection my mouth numb very quickly anyway after a couple of hours my mouth still feeling numb I decided I wanted a cuppa but I had left it to cool so instead of drinking most of my tea I dribbled the rest down my front so I wore my cuppa tea lol

Oh whoops Vixen, I've done the very same thing myself but with coffee and I was wearing a pale pink top and it certainly made a mess. I hope your top has come clean and the lesson is not to drink without a straw post dentist, but even that can come amiss ..... ;-)

A few years ago I had a tumour removed from my tongue and for well over a week my face was numb and my tongue so swollen, I had to use a straw and strategically place it even just to get a tiny bit down. At least it the nasty was sorted, so that was a bonus :-)

How you doing bluebell?

I've been a very stupid Foggy and hurt my shoulders and arm, I think I may need to go into my memory foam igloo and not come out for quite a while :o :o. I think the better weather will definitely make a difference, I do hope so, especially for you :-) :-)

I had a salivary gland removed many years ago and they had to sew my tongue to the bottom of my mouth. For 10 days eating was soooooo painful. You just don't realise how much you move your tongue around to eat and drink until you can't. I can laugh about it now ;) xx

Dentists these days are pretty understanding. Tell them your fears and worries and they will let you know whats going on and what to expect (if you want to know). Its a good tip to use a straw, now why didnt I know that? I have an appointment on Friday to have a cap put on the tooth that broke in half when I treated myself to a toblerone and I bit into a nice big chunk. I will remember the straw tip for when I get home. I have even dribbled all over the floor at the dentist when I have been rinsing my mouth out after hes done some drilling lol

I use a toddler's drinking cup - the one with a spout. I must find it. Having a wisdom tooth out soon. - yes I know my friends thought they'd all gone. Not looking forward to it as it's a hospital job :(

Ooowwww poor you, wisdom teeth aren't very cooperative, it's a good job being done in the hospital. I hope it goes well for you my friend :o :-( :o
