Well that's the DLA forms in! Yes DLA forms! I have filled them in and thanks to photocopying the last forms, I have stated, not in the same words that my condition has got worse over the last 2 years. I have noticed that the form is different from the last form, so be aware of that. Wish me luck!

Good luck freya, I think it's always so wise to keep copies of every form you send in to any authority just to make sure, if there are any come backs to you, and it also helps with filling in of more forms, as you have said, even though they've altered it slightly.

Hi foggy, I just hope I have done enough to get through again now that the goal posts have been moved. I'm annoyed because it's not the PIP forms.

I'm afraid that is just in an indication of what a muddle the whole system is in Freya, the right hand doesn't seem to know what the left is doing, sadly

how long did it take you to complete and how much aditional information did you put with it please?

As my condition has worsened and I now have tinnitus and hypertension, along with other things, I stated all this on the application form. As the for the other questions, I made sure that I answered each question to the fullest and not just put a yes or no answers! I also wrote underneath the box,along the side etc. All in all, it took me 5 hours to complete. Just remember if you can, photocopy or scan your application. It's amazing how many people's forms go missing!!

thanks for that - I must have spent about 7/8 hours already and my concentration is poor and also I have short term memory. problems among all my other conditions . I do havr a copy of my last application 2 years ago which has helped. I have done like you written everywhere and also several additional information sheets. I have about 1 or 2 hours ork left and then I have to copy it all. figs crossed for me and well done you. the one I have problems with is walking as I am in constant pain and on walking stick - I have 2 sticks if need be. so I really do not know what to put on this section ? any help appreciated.

If you are in pain before you get up to walk or go anywhere, you put 0 metres. Simple, that's what I put down. We're not lying, we're stating a fact.

Meant to say, I feel as if I am on my own as the locum we had here, has now left and might not be back! He was brilliant where fibromyalgia was concerned. In the past 4 years, I had 3 appointments with the pain clinic. My last appointment was with the consultant and she basically said that she couldn't do anything else for me and to go home and manage my pain. I feel as if I'm back to square 1. Now every month, I go see my doctor, get my medication and that's it.
