i wonder if you could help me i have recieved a form to fill in taking me from incapacity benefit to esa and dla to pip, eekk this looks like a minefield of questions i am so scared in case i make a mistake in fillling these forms in .i would be most gratefull for any help you or anyone else can give me. sick with worry. gentle hugs to you all and thank you for all the great work you do on this site i dont know where i would be without the support of everyone.

Hi Pinot,

This is an area I don't know much about, and if I had to fill in these forms, I would head off to Citizen's Advice Bureau and ask for their help - they are very good, but as you can imagine, they have been inundated with requests for assistance with these forms.

Many of our members are very up-to-date with this,and I'm sure will be able to offer you some help and advice before the day is out.

Very best of luck with your application - I am sure you will be successful, but if not, appeal, appeal, appeal!

Do you know if you have a branch of the charity MIND near to you at all? When I was poorly I used this voluntary support Advocacy service to help fill in the forms to limit the stress that was exacerbating my Fibromyalgia. Not all areas have this service but it may be worth your while looking into it

thank you mdaisy, sorry i have just read this post and i have sent a request to vgrumpy oh she will be pleased not lol its the fog you see and the stress will try and find out about the mind place see if we have one. i am just terified of all this change my nerves are shot to bits by it all i cant eat or sleep with the worry of it all i have other health conditions and if i could work i most certainly would but im terrrified they say im fit for work .. it seems you must practicaly be a vegeatable to recieve benefits these days even those poor souls who have terminal illness are not safe from this gestapo process i wonder how they can sleep at night lucky them eh!!.
