As promised. The Beer Sanctuary of my local
Sorry I've been quiet today - who said hurray?
It's all happening today. Fire service around looking at Badger Lake.

Looks scary badger, but kinda pretty, mainly because I didn't see it before it was flooded, hope you are ok , have suffered thru floodin at all??? ...hugs...Dee x
Actually looks better like that. The local fishing ponds have loaqds of escaped carp.
Just right for a Sunday morning, we have backed up waste pipes there's a portaloo in the car park and I take my laundry to work
BUT I've seen Nessie and sharks
No water inside yet but it's perilously close
Thanks for asking How's you?
Is this why they call it a wet garden?
Or should I say beer garden. Xx
Just think! You can now have a pint and do some fishing all at the same time without ever having to leave your seat!
Sorry, couldn't resist that! Hope that you are doing great day and not flooded?
Take care
Ken
Now there's a thought, I have a proper river about 400 yards from me and I love to go and look over the bridge in the summer and see the little trouts darting about, they love to stay in water where the sun is heating it, but you just have to move slightly and they are off >>~^~> (that's my fish hehehe)
Remember the fashion for soup in a basket - didn't really take off did it? This is a new slant on it.
See you at the Fibrolympics?
Can't get it much fresher Ken
I like mine grilled with a jacket potato please!
Would that be Nessie, shark or Bessie?
Ha ha ha
morning
.........................and de ja vue (no accents too technilogical)
Still no local then
I see it doesn't look like the water's risen any since last time good sign!!
Bad sign that it's probably still shut
Wishing you safety my friend and sending fluffies to help you through the day
Aww thanks. And morning to you. Hope your meal out at home went ok.
Fire service came round yesterday so we're getting some attention
Badgers bask in attention
hehhhehhehehheeh
..............chuckling my friend, chuckling
Fri night was mediocre as always but we did have a good night wasn't the same as being out the house................ crikey!! when will that ever happen? I have my chair now too but I need to practice on it and the weather hasn't been road testing chair friendly It is today but I'm busy with the squeakers
So then what's the state of affairs? have they decided what to do yet? It would be driving me up the wall sendiing calming fluffies your way my friend xx
I don't want to say we're ok at the mo for fear of tempting Fate, but Badger Lake has receded a bit. being on chalk we could still have rising rivers for a while as it takes longer to calm down. Perhaps we can give the fluffies a bit of a rest?
Mind the Tyne and Tees can be like that with their limestone catchments.
It's Somerset I feel for.
A church friend of mine has just got a mobility scooter and is having much the same problems as you. There's either deep water of hoses.
I bought mother in law a chair but she would not switch it on
