The School Field out the back of where I live floods when it rains heavy and we have been known to get ducks out there, even saw pheasant once heheheh and sand pipers. There's an underground river under us too so when it rains heavy we often get frogs hopping everywhere, we like that though

Still waiting for Southern Water 5 blokes have looked at the problem. Didn't go to work because of it but haven't enjoyed the rest because of the worry. Council have had photos and it's on the local facebook page heheheh. I'll have to post the local Police photo. it's funny. School of art is flooded and the nature reserve is closed. I've been drafted into the local floodwatch group partly as I have this personal depth gauge hehehe so its not entirely wasted. Got a bit of flood preparation done. filled up water containers and moved some precious items. Now I'm shattered never mind.

I'm okay and just relaxing because my hip is giving me gip, was playing a game but I'm possibly heading for a nap now

My knee ain't 'alf noisy at times but never painful when noisy. I feel for you and with you. I don't know why that should be, to actually feel pain that I should only be imagining

Aw cheers but don't be sad but yes! the turn of phrase does come back on itself somewhat!!

I was really happy until my friend and neighbour just completely flattened my mood by being an angry stress head and taking it out on me, which I tend to ignore but not this time as he also took it out on the dog, so I got upset and cried for an hour and messaged him to tell him he was out of order.

He's back now and ignoring me as if I've done wrong and all I did was knock on the door and say hello I only wanted to share some news with him and my OH was already there because he'd been dog sitting, he witnessed it too.

Hence going for the nap too to get away from the atmosphere he's brought back into the house OH is back now too so its not so bad now

I've known the dog since it was a tiny wee puppy and helped to look after him and stuff so I have a strong bond with his dog, so yes! very mean waggy finger mean there's no emoticon for that LOL

Sorry Paul I didn't mean to ignore your actual reply and be all selfish. I can't imagine what it must be like because I've never lived in a house that's flooded or could flood. I have and Aunt that does tho and she said its soul destroying Hope the aquatic fluffies help to mop it up

Its a shame you didn't get the chance to spoil yourself with rest today but maybe tomorrow you might

Sian, there's no need to apologise. Hadn't noticed you did tbh. Fibro (fog) is so good at mind tricks. If a comment is answered in a strange way or not at all, it's not a problem. From where I'm standing it looks a bit like "chemo brain". I know I've got it. I don't know if it's really accelerating or I've just started noticing now I have a diagnosis. I was called "the absent minded professor at school" so I may be imagining it or just doing what I always did. Or is it early onset Alzheimer's. Who knows? And is it me or the other person? Again, Who knows. Either way I'm not giving in. I'll meet the grim reaper not in a hospital bed but on a bent tea tray sliding sideways down a slope with a thumping great smile of my ugly fizzle.

Supposed to be on a real railway tomorrow polishing my skills as a signalman. Don't know if I'll have the energy. Sunday I'll deffo slob out.

And you keep cracking the funnies and pic of the day and look after the fluffies. You and some others have given me a new lease on life cos I'm talking to someone who knows from first hand experience how I'm feeling
