I have been told i need to attend a medical i havent been given a date yet does anyone know how long i will have to wait for the medical

i hope its not with the fools from atos ive got mine on the 26th of this months been wating since oct 2013 what is the medical for if you dont mind me asking

Love the tag. I'd say don't worry. But what sort of medical? I've seen several posts on this subject and there seems to be no single or simple answer. It goes along the lines of how long is a piece of string? A bit of a postcode lottery perhaps with no rhyme or reason for waiting time. I had a meeting with ATOS 3 months after I returned to work after a replacement knee and similarly 3 months after my ESA stopped. and therefore 3 months further healing. Pointless or what? I still went and was truthful to the questions as I felt on the day. Good luck

im ESA and im on the work programme which i attend every mth when im well enough just b4 xmas my work programme adviser told me to ring and ask fornew esa50 form to try get onn support group as he didnt think i was fit to work i sent it of after weeks of writing as its my arms and hands ive been suffering with most i have fibro and o/a and ibs and asthma i rang then on 18th jan and was told they were looking them over on 23rd i rang again and ended up ringing about 5 diff numbers as they said they didnt have them and no one new were they were so was told i would need to go for a medical im having so much trouble with my arms they hurt they burn they throb i cant straghten them without pain i cant even brush my hair some days or grip a cup i was such an active person and have been a cleaner all my life up until nearly 4 years ago having worked since the age of 15 i cry most days as trying to do things and cant do them is frustrating sorry for the rant xx
