Does anyone know how long the 'current' waiting time for results of ESA medicals is at the mo?

had my medical may 25th. called DWP today and just got told theres a backlog cos theyre really busy at the mo! You think?!

i went in september, go stuff back from dwp about 3 weeks to a month later, have now waited 9 months to go to a appeal, which apparently will be very soon ,aahhhhh

ok thankyou! they made the backlog happen by changing the rules - but clearly didnt put anything in place to deal with it!!

come on you really expect them to be able to something in place like a back up plan!!, they are too busy making ill peoples life a misery!!

god just hd my letter for tribuneral today ive been to one before and terrify me really dreading it x

i'm in the same boat as you ,i am due to go to my hearing anytime soon, i went to one when it was incapacity benefit and was only in there 10 mins and awarded it back i won the appeal!! i hear it is a lot different now, but no two appeals are the same,i s'pose it's a case of "bite the bullet" i wish you good luck let me know how you go xxgentle hugs xx

It took 2 to 3 weeks for the letter to come through, but received phone call telling me of decision after 2 weeks.I was nervous wreck just waiting to find out and person who conducted medical said I would know within a week. Good luck hope you have the result you want x

I was told about 6 weeks, but got a copy of the assessment report and their decision in two weeks to the day of the assessment. So I guess it depends what area you live in. Good luck x
