When I wasn't sure I just phoned and checked and they were able to ell me it was just questions, but that doesn't apply the same to everyone, they need to look at your case individually, so only ATOS could tell you,

Sorry couldn't be more help xx

At the assessment they do all the writing. I assume that's the same for everyone.

The way I see it is that I would rather them see me exactly how I am, if they make up their mind with lies then I have to challenge them. I have just done it with Capita. I hope I don't get the same doctor when they reassess my DLA as capita are taking over the PIP assessments where I live I think :( xx

Thank you ,they won't come to me have to go the medical centre they operate from do you have fibro .?

It seems to be pot luck if you can get a home visit ... My friends husband had a home visit no problem someone on here their GP stated they needed a home assesment and that was ignored and they have been called in for a medical.....

Hi,

I had a doctor from ATOS come to my home. She asked me some questions, wrote down all the medication I was taking, asked me to put my arms above my head (which I couldn't do) and put my arms around my back and told me in her opinion I was not fit for work and if they did put me in a work group I should appeal. I was put into a work group and was told that the ATOS doctor said that I was fit for work and had more mobility than I was making out. How she came to this conclusion I will never know as I did not stand at all during our meeting. Following appealing I got a call from a decision maker who asked me about what the ATOS doctor had said and they laughed. I am now in the support group where I should have been put in the first place. This is my experience and there is no saying that others will be treated this way, however, from reading other posts on this site I do not think ATOS are well respected for making the right decisions. Good luck! x

Why isn't the FME coming to see you at your home. If you cannot go to the centre call them and tell them that you want a Dr to come to your home ..

Good luck
