He just has so much energy, and I can't even throw the damn ball without my shoulder popping out. I want to run, what would you most like to do now if FMS wasn't holding you back? Xx

Hi libalmaddict! I can say without even thinking! I would love to be able to swim the mile which I used to swim every day before this gremlin tightened it's grip on me !!
What a lovely picture of your lovely dog, he has such a lovely glossy coat
Wow, yes. I bet you really miss that. My friend is a dancer, and she said it really does become your life and soul. It must be so hard to have to stop because your body won't do its job properly. Hugs for you Jilly. The fog cost me my job, I sent someone to prison for too many days (I mean I realised straight after that I'd miscalculated so he didn't actually serve the extra days), and then I told someone else he had to go on the sex offenders register and he didn't ( it will have done him no harm to think it for an hour after what he did, and I don't think Tony Blair was right to have changed the law on that point but that was just my opinion...). I didn't get sacked or anything, just realised my brain wasn't really sharp enough to be making that kind of decision anymore....heehee! Oooops! I'm awful
Xxx
Hi Foggy,
How are you today?
Swimming is lovely, particularly when it's in lovely sparkly aqua sea amongst the fishes, with the sun beating down! You must really miss it
Sprocket the dog says he will do your swimming for you, after he finishes my running - it's how he gets his coat so shiny, from all the freezing cold rivers and lakes he jumps in. He has webbed feet too. Brrrrrr
not called Labrador for nothing. With that name does he live on Fraggle Rock?
Jack & I were out on Dartmoor one wet day. Thought we'd see no one. Wrong. Met a lovely Huskie whose delight was to find the deepest dirtiest iciest puddle, roll over in it and say "tummy rub - now"
With my brain there can be nothing intellectual . .Best part of Fraggle Rock was Lighthouse keeper was Mr Mckay from Porridge. I think that earlier stereotype emphasised his funniness
Megan is collie number 4 and so I spent 30yrs walking dogs every day. I always called myself a walkerholic I walked every where often turning down lifts, just for the joy of walking, But my time walking the dogs was my special me time and I miss it.

I can empathise with that but not to the same extent as you, as I've only had my dog for a year. You must miss it so much I know how much it lifts my spirits to see the dog running ahead of me even on the grottiest day. When the Dr told me yesterday to stop walking the dog and spend the time on an exercise bike instead I gave her the death stare. Silly woman! I'm sorry you have to miss your walking now, does Megan like to fetch balls? Sprocket gets most of his exercise via ball launcher now I can't do as much xxx

She drives us mad to through the ball runs after it and then 9 x10 she will come back without it. she is good at eating them. though
I just love to be be able to walk a dog and go dancing, ...Dee x
Fab picture and oh yes! only in virtual land do I get to jump and skip these days
xxxsianxxx
Oh forgot to say go out dancing because it was a fantastic way to let of steam and also keep fit at the same time xx

Hi Sian, I think virtual living is the way forwards, otherwise I'd get completely down about what I can no longer do, my memories are what keep me going xx

Yes I agree xxx
So many things. Firstly, I'd take a leap and start my own massage/reiki business. I'd also look into getting more clients for baking lessons/selling my baking. I'd love to be able to go running, play more actively with my kids, have the energy to keep my house consistently clean and tidy (at the moment I'm doing the basics, enough to keep things turning over, and hubby does the hard work at the weekends.) I'd love to go Sky diving! Bungee jumping, abseiling, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking...I miss these things!
As much as I try not to think about the things I can no longer do, I'd love to be able to run around with my grandson and kick a ball with him! I'd also love to dance and walk my dog. I used to love that, I too would miles and miles, sheer bliss!! Oh well, at least I have done most of them before fibro kicked in!
Too many things to list, I would love to take up running again, walk my dogs everyday ( I have to lovely mastiff X labs called Roxy and Marley), finish my nursing degree - off sick at the mo cos of a flare- mostly I want to just feel like a 29 year old not an 89 year old xxx
I'd play Tennis, take my little girl for long walks in the countryside like my Dad used to with me and generally spend time with family & friends as much as possible !
I'd be a rock star and have lots of money and a big house in the country and...well ok a girl can dream can't she (Johnny Depp might feature in there somewhere as well ) Failing the Rock star status, I'd love to do show jumping but with fibro: jumping fences =mightfalloffendgethurtincreasingfibroouchies.
