AARGH THE FOG.

And a photo for Foggy, Lipbalmaddict and any one else who likes 'osses.

For the second time this week I went to my pill box and discovered I hadn't taken the last lot. The odd time won't kill me but this is getting to be a habit. Anyway some of the meds are night or morning for good reasons.

Oh the ponies belong to a farmer who lets the wildlife trust use them for conservation grazing. We're not supposed to get friendly but what do you do when you get a clout on the shoulder and a blast of hot sweet breath in the lug hole? Silver blaze is the leader and Star not far behind. Imaginative names (mine I hasten to add) Silver Blaze is named after a character in a Sherlock Holmes story :P :P

aw they're beautiful,my grandaughter who's 11 would love them, she's got a disability & has been going to a horse riding club since she was 5,she has ridden bare back & without holding on, standing up in the stirrups with her arms in the air, just as well her dad took her that day or my daughter would of been a wreck :)

They can be very therapeutic as can lots of animals. It's just one reason I support the Donkey Sanctuary in Branscombe.

This lot are gorgeous and come up for grooming, Being semi wild we have to be very careful.

Hi Gins. Yes, they're just across the river but 45 mins walk. They've been evacuated as the river's overflowing. It's too dangerous for us, and worse, there's no grazing above water :(

Ahhhhh gorgeous! Thank you, that's made my day xx

They are, but what a shot that was of yours from the saddle :D :D

As I said, we're not supposed to approach them, as you know in a herd situation they can be quite spiteful and that 600kg can do a lot of damage. But what can you do when they come over and start grooming you!

At least you understood it I have lived here all my adult life and still have problems. Its the oi and I that drives me made eg to the dog "good bye (boy) bring me your tie (toy)" or" I`ll put some i`ll (oil) in the car" I still think uh, then have to think about it Sue

Funny that. It's a lovely dialect and you're close enough to Warwick (I'm waiting for a smack) to think of Shakespeare talking loike tha'. Slings and arrers of outroijus fowrtoon.

My late father in law came from Ayr but moved away when young. He couldn't understand his own family in later life :P

Beautiful 'orses :-)

apparently the black country dialect is the closest thing left to angelo saxon, some of the olduns still say thee and thy. doesn`t make it any easier to understand.:)

I have a story. There was a man asking directions in Yorkshire. He was southerner. He spent all day walking up and down the road because he didn't know what a ginnel was. Hey, that word's in the spellchecker :D

And because of that some only do it out of badness :P
