Happy New Year all. My boss recently asked me about Fibro and how it affects me. Does anyone know of an easy read article I can give to him.

I'm a bit annoyed with him as he interviewed me and under the Equality Act ( Employers should make reasonable adjustments at interview for candidates) I was very open about my condition but after 5 unsuccsessful interviews, no consistent feedback, less experienced candidates being offered posts. I have been offered a permenant post as another succsessful candidate pulled out. This has led me to have the worse flare up in 4 years & 5 weeks off work. I'm hoping giving him information will help other's in the future. I certainly will NOT be attending any more interviews!

You've confused me a little, have you got a professional avatar and a personal one ? If so that explains it ! :)

i would find the information and give him a leaflet with the web address to use. if he wants to know more tell him to do his home work and look it up for him self hopefully he will become more understanding and ask you the right questions . this condition come under the works disabled act you should be well supported if you have no joy with him i would recommend you talk to your hr department. i know what you are going through it very hard to talk about this condition and get across what your going through and getting people to understand good luck for the future and try not to get to uptight about it this is a chronic illness your fibro friend bourne
