Head pain

Im just wondering if anyone can be of help on here just recently ive started to get this sharp stabbing pain in the right side of my head which also goes down to my neck its like someone has pushed a knife in and then twisted it dont know if this can be a serious complaint or just one of those things associated with fibromyalgia amd help would be grateful

hi davidshelby,i get a pain on the left side of my head which feels like someone has punched me & a sharp needle like pain in my left eye,it only lasts a second & not all the time,if i were you i would go to see yr gp & also have an eye test just to check you out,it probably is fibro related or maybe a trapped nerve but go & get checked to make sure,good luck

Hi there David, I think the very best thing you can do is to get yourself an appointment with a doctor and get him/her to check it out. I suffer with migraines and headaches and sometimes get similar sensations to those you mention, but I definitely would be proactive about this and seek help as soon as you can, just incase it is something more serious, but hope sincerely it isn't, best to receive reassurance though.

Well thankyou for your kind words got an appointment for 5pm today and was told i have and inflammed neck and my rotating cuff on shoulder are also inflamed so hes given me some anti inflamitories lets hope they work
