My new doctor who has seen me 3 times says the same as the old doctor that the medicine is my problem and I have forms for a Councillor & Psychiatrist because I am addicted to the pills. I have been told 3 years ago that it was fibromyalgia by the first doctor and begged her to send me to a Rhuemy. I would like someone who if more familiar with the illness to help me. I am so low at the moment, all I do is cry and make everyone else miserable. I read on here that you are all suffering yet I am made to feel like a drug addict at the age of 70!

Hi Sookie , You sound really frustrated . You need a doctor that will listen and refer you. After all, if you were once to ld you have fibro, then you must have enough symptoms to warrant a visit to a Rheumy !? What about PALS ? can they help you ? Don't give up ! Maybe someone on here can offer some more advice ,or post your own question on here? Hope you soon get sorted . If I could hug you I would x

Thank you larissa, I'm not very good with computers and don't quite know my way around this site. I will try PALS. You sound so kind, if I only had a friend, we have recently lost our house to bankruptcy and are renting in the countryside, lovely in the summer but now so lonely, no shops, no friends. Hugs to you, from Sookie xx
