strange taste ?

afternoon everyone im not sure if anyone else has had this or if im a freak lol but for nearly a week now my mouth tastes like salt and when i breathe in my tongue is even more salty it just wont go away ? any input would be greatly recieved thanks xx

Sometimes medications can give us a strange taste in our mouths or make it dry. Have you had a med change?

hi suffocklass, i have not changed any medication i have been taking slightly more oramorph as the pains be particulary bad at the moment , and my mouth has always been extreemley dry sometimes i wake up in the night and its that dry it sounds like sand paper and sometimes my tongue is stuck to my mouth so i always have a bit bottle of juice made up xxx

I get a salty taste in my mouth and it ruins my appetite. It started with one of my medications (nortriptyline).

Hi there im not on the medication you are i take amitrypiline maybe thats in the same group of tablets i dont know but i agree it ruins my appetite too and its not looking like its going away either i am going to mention it to the doctor when he comes for my visit on tuesday i will report back if i have any useful information xx
